Lanie Finbury and Ann Stanley are two women on a mission to provide a wedding gift registry that is an alternative to the impersonal way people have traditionally registered for wedding gifts.

Lanie is a preservationist and real estate developer who has saved historic buildings by developing new uses that are economically sustainable. She is now using this expertise to preserve and support a strong and self-sufficient community of artists and artisans, by promoting their products to a wider audience.

Ann is a well-known interior designer and product expert who selects the finest hand made pottery, flatware, hand made pottery, glass and linens for your gift registry. For thirty years she has developed relationships with individual artists and creators so that all the items in the gift registry will not only be beautifully made and of high quality, but will also have a story to tell.

If you’re nearby, we’ll come and meet you. If not we will arrange a video chat with you to show you our gift registry options.

Through this process, we explore your personal taste in items, your design preferences and we ask a lot of questions about how you plan to live and to entertain. From there we prepare a personal listing of the products that best fit your personal style.

Once you see your options and select the items for your gift registry, we put together a document that is your “customized store.”
